Islamabad United is one of the most successful PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE franchises. Islamabad is the only team in the competition to win two titles. They won their first title in the first edition of HBL PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE in 2016 under the leadership of MISBAH-UL-HAQ.
They achieve the same feat in 2018. In the third edition of HBL PSL under the combined leadership of JP DUMNY AND MISBAH-UL-HAQ.
ISLAMABAD UNITED team is the combination of youth and experience that made them successful.
In the seventh edition, the team is led by the young CAPTIAN SHAHDAB KHAN.

• PESHAWAR ZALMI
Peshawar Zalm is another successful Franchise in the League. They have the HBL PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE title in 2017 which was the second edition of the league under the inspirational leadership of DARREN SAMMY.
Since then Peshawar hasn't won any final but they have played four finals out of six, which is the most by any team.
In the seventh edition, the team is led by experience Pacer Wahab Riaz.

• QUETTA GLADIATORS
QUETTA GLADIATORS is the winner of HBL PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE season 4 in the year 2019 under the captaincy of SARFRAZ AHMED.
They are the only team to play with only one captain in all the seasons so far.
They have surprised the experts with their performances in the first four seasons. In the last seasons, their performances are not up to the Mark. But this year they had a solid team. Pakistan cricket's biggest star and Legend SHAHID AFRIDI also joins the gladiators.

• MULTAN SULTANS
MULTAN SULTANS made their HBL PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE debut in 2018 in the third edition. They have shown some great performances throughout their journey in the HBL PSL. They top the points table in season 5 but could not able to grab the trophy as they lost to Qalanders in Play-off's in the second half of PSL after the Covid break in November 2020.
But they were able to grab the Title in the most recent edition of HBL PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE in June 2021 under the great leadership of MUHAMMAD RIZWAN.
They will defend their title in an upcoming edition. They will heavily rely on MUHAMMAD RIZWAN again. BUT they also have some solid team around him.

• KARACHI KINGS
KARACHI KINGS is a team of Pakistan's biggest city. They have some big names in their team, they have world number one T20I batter and PAKISTAN NATIONAL CRICKET TEAM CAPTAIN BABAR AZAM. He will lead kings in this edition for the very first time in the history of HBL PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE.
Karachi Kings also have one title in their bag. They have won the Hbl PSL final in season 5 in November 2020 under their ex-captain IMAD WASIM.
The Karachi batting will heavily rely on Babar Azam. He is their key to success and somehow a weaker link as well. But they have also got some good international players in their squad.

• LAHORE QALANDARS
LAHORE QALANDARS is the least successful team of the HBL PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE as it is the only team in the competition which hasn't won any trophy. Only one time in the history of League they have made it to the Play-offs. They played the final of season 5 against Karachi in November 2020. In the sixth edition, they played very well in the first half but then couldn't maintain their form in the next half. They have tried many leaders but no one able to win the title for them.
Their off-field activity makes them popular among the public. They have produced some talent through their PDP program. Haris Rauf is their best product so far.
This season they have new and young captain SHAHEEN SHAH AFRID. Let's see will be able to change the fortune for them!
