AUSTRALIA NAME THEIR FULL-STRENGTH SQUAD TO FACE PAKISTAN
Australia is touring Pakistan after 24 years. Today Cricket Australia announces 18-man squad for Test series against Pakistan. This series is also part of ICC Test Championship.
In addition to captain Pat Cummins and vice-captain, Steve Smith in the Australian squad, Ashton Agar, Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Cameron Green, Mark Harris, Josh Hazelwood, Travis Head, Josh Ingles, Usman Khawaja, Marin Lubushin, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Marsh Mitchell Nasr, Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Swepson and David Warner will be part of the squad.
It should be noted that 3 Test matches will be played between Pakistan and Australia. The first Test match will start from March 4 in Rawalpindi while the second will be played from March 12 in Karachi and the third and final Test of the series will start from March 21 in Lahore.
According to Cricket Australia, the squad for the three-match ODI series and the only T20 International match will be announced separately.
Remember that the Australian team will reach Islamabad on February 27 after 24 years.
Schedule of Australia tour to Pakistan
February 27: Australian team arrives in Islamabad.
March 4-8: The first Test will be played in Rawalpindi.
March 16: Second Test in Karachi.
March 21-25: The third Test will be played in Lahore.
March 29: The first ODI will be played in Rawalpindi.
March 31: The second ODI will be played in Rawalpindi.
April 2: The third ODI will be played in Rawalpindi.
April 5: The only T20 match will be played in Rawalpindi.
April 6: The Australian team returns.
