LAHORE: Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Islamabad United players Paul Stirling left Pakistan and returned home.
Liam Dawson will be part of Islamabad United in place of Paul Sterling for the remaining matches of PSL season seven. Paul Sterling will no longer be a part of HBLPSL7 due to national duty.
On the other hand, Paul Sterling in a message released on the social networking site Twitter said that it was a lot of fun in Pakistan once again and good hospitality was given by Islamabad United.
In his message, Irish player Paul Sterling also expressed his best wishes for Islamabad United in the remaining matches of PSL 7.
It should be noted that Paul Sterling had scored 187 runs in 5 matches in PSL season seven and he had also scored two half-centuries.
Paul Sterling scored 58 against Quetta Gladiators, 57 against Peshawar Zalmi, 39 against Karachi Kings, 19 against Multan Sultans, and 14 against Lahore Qalandars. The event technical committee had already approved the name of the partial substitute.
